Drivers For OS X Mavericks
  1. Download and install the package below: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907
  2. From System Preferences, click on Print & Scan.
  3. Click the Plus sign. Select the listed LJ 1020 printer.
  4. Click the drop down menu next to Use or Print Using and click on
  5. Select Printer Software.
  6. Select the HP Laserjet 1022 from the list.
  7. Click OK to confirm your selection and add the printer, then try printing using the configured print queue.

Drivers for OS X Snow Leopard
  1. Download the driver from http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907
  2. Turn on the printer and connect it to the Mac.
  3. Open the printer preference page, press the ‘+’ button to add the printer.
  4. In the ‘add printer’ dialog, make sure that the printer is visible.
  5. Open the driver list.
  6. Select HP Laserjet 1022, but not the gutenberg version.

Driver for OS X Lion
  1. Download the driver from http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907
  2. Install the drivers
  3. Plug in printer, go to system preferences
  4. Add your printer, select the hp 1022 software from the newly installed hp drivers.
  5. You can also try with version 1.3.1022.
